"Never, Never" Underestimate a Hoover/Fisher Collaboration

Chelle here....

It's no secret that I have a girl crush on Colleen Hoover.  I mean, what's not to love?  She can tell a story like no one else.  And it almost ALWAYS has a twist you don't see coming.  Her characters feel real and watching life unfold before their eyes in as close to genius as you can get.

Add the twisted little mind of Tarryn Fisher, and you have the fantastic paranormal adventure, "Never, Never".

But wait...is it paranormal?  Is it a mystery?  Is it a love story?  It's a little bit of everything all rolled into one.

You see, our characters, Silas and Charlie, wake up with no memory of themselves, each other or any part of their lives.  Well, not necessarily wake up since they were already out and about for the day. It's more like coming out of a trance.  Although I wouldn't exactly call it a trance.  Never mind...

Anyway, Silas and Charlie remember things about the world around them like who Kanye West married (I should have seen that one coming).  But nothing that gives them any indication of how they ended up in this situation in the first place.

Part of the intrigue of this book is that Charlie's voice is written by Fisher, while Silas' voice is written by Hoover.  Yet, the transition between characters is so smooth, you are never distracted by having two separate authors.

I've talked to Hoover about how they collaborated on this project and it's actually quite fascinating.  Before writing, they discussed how it began and how it would end.  But neither one of them knew how they were going to get there.  They learned as they went.  How, you ask? Fisher would write a chapter and Hoover wouldn't have any idea what it was about until she read it, and vice versa.  Cool, right?  It's like the two of them were experiencing this book the same way we do!

Keep in mind, Never, Never is a series so there is a cliffhanger at the end.  And frankly, I'm DYING to know what's going to happen.  If you prefer to wait until all parts of a series are out before reading it, I totally understand.  But let me say this, the cliffhanger is worth the journey you take when reading this book.  It's is a fantastic and gripping beginning to what I'm sure will be one of my favorite series this year.

And lucky us, "Never, Never" has released early!  You can get it by clicking here.

The super duo of Fisher and Hoover make a memorable impression and easily earn
